Karl Sack
There once was a flap named Flappy,
On Starliner, smart and snappy.
For aerodynamic flair,
It sliced through the air,
Guiding the ship, oh so happy.
Attitude control was its game,
Keeping the craft right in frame.
With each little tweak,
It steadied the streak,
Of Starliner’s re-entry flame.
Heat management was its task,
In thermal loads it would bask.
It shifted the flow,
Of the heat's fiery glow,
Ensuring the hull's steady mask.
Stabilizing as it would descend,
Flappy was the spacecraft’s best friend.
With calm, steady grace,
It slowed down the race,
Bringing Starliner to a safe end.
